Monocle is a display typography inspired by the old monocles, magnifying glasses and their refraction indexes. Basically, by passing a magnifying glass over any object, what happens inside changes and gives rise to something new and unpredictable, especially when the exercise has no rules and the only objective is to experiment and play with absurd and random design situations.
Technically, it has a systematized and solid side in its container, and an experimental, playful and liquid side in its content. Metaphorically, messy but clean or organized chaos.
The typography is developed from a game of spheres and refractions, mixed with gradients and textures that allow to carry out almost any graphic experiment. The 36 letters and 10 numbers can be something playful, stupid, the arrival of man on the moon, a sci-fi movie from the nineties or literally anything.
